The Best Brunch Buffets in Orange County, California

The Best Brunch Buffets in Orange County, California:

  1. Wind and Sea in Dana Point, CA.

Start of your day (from 9am to 2 pm) with eggs benedict and breakfast burritos at The Wind and Sea in Dana Point, CA. Much to our surprise, the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. The view is incredible with the restaurant pretty much in a Marina. They have the option to sit outdoors (with your pups of course) or indoors if the weather isn’t ideal.

It’s a pretty casual and quiet restaurant, with stellar breakfast options, and TVs if you want to watch any Sunday sports. They have waffle and omelet station so you’ll be sure to be stuffed post meal. I would say a big con was the lack of lunch items to chose from. They definitely had more “br” and not enough “unch”. I am a sucker for a salad bar, so it was a huge downer when we realized they didn’t have one.

Luckily, they made up for it with bottomless mimosas. Yasss queens.

The buffet itself is at $20 per person, with the bottomless mimosas at an additional $9 per person (not totally positive on that so don’t quote me).  Bottomless is sorta worth it though, imo.

  1. Newport Landing Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Newport Beach, CA

Another one of the best brunch buffets in Orange County to consider is the Newport Landing Restaurant and Oyster Bar, in…of course Newport Beach.

HOLY OPTIONS. They had SO much food to chose from I was overwhelmed with the choices. There was a whole room dedicated to a bruncher’s paradise. Newport Landing had an awesome variety of both breakfast and lunch selections to satisfy any palette. An omelet and carving station were also available for you omelet/meat lovers. Not to mention it was loaded with seafood options. Hells yes to shrimp cocktail/ceviche.

There were so many choices my plate was overloaded with small servings of almost everything…it was almost if I was TOO OVERWHELMED? (jk not possible). Because there were so many options, things did look like they were sitting around a bit though.

The ambiance of the restaurant was okay. It’s in a great location, but parking can definitely be a bitch (unless you valet). There do take reservations, and it was pretty crowded when we went.

The total price comes out at $26 per person, with BOTTOMLESS mimosas at $3 a person.

  1. El Torito – Multiple Locations.

If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican brunch spot, el Torito is the place to go. Their spread was so incredible, and absolutely delicious. They provided an omelet, waffle, and seafood station—and obviously a taco bar!

They have a bunch of locations along the California coastline, but we went to the one just outside of John Wayne Airport. If you’re super early for Sunday boarding, that’s the spot to down some bottomless mimosas.

It’s a pretty casual environment, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of televisions if you want to watch some Sunday football. At $24 a person (including the mimosas) it’s quite the deal. A perfect spot if you’re in the mood for Mexican.

  1. Duke’s in Huntington Beach, CA.

Duke’s is definitely a contender for one the best brunch buffets in Orange County. A small chain, Duke’s have several locations down in SoCal and Hawaii, and it’s the perfect place to find your island vibes. The Duke’s in Huntington Beach is literally right on the beach.

They have an amazing spread with the classics like eggs benedict, french toast, and seafood choices. Not to mention, an omelet bar and carving station! They have a create your own salad bar, along with delicious Hawaiian themed poke bites and some of the best ceviche I’ve ever eaten.

It’s usually pretty crowded so you’ll be better off making a reservation. Duke’s does have a section for first come, first serve seating, but that’s always taking a chance.

For dessert, finish your meal with chocolate covered strawberries and rich brownie bites. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Adults are $29 per person and includes one mimosa (womp). The only thing their missing is bottomless!

  1. BLK Earth Sea Spirits in Huntington Beach, CA.

Travis and my most recent exploration (aka yesterday) was BLK Earth Sea Spirits, also in Huntington Beach, CA. For $35 a person, it did NOT disappoint.

They had “tickets” for a variety of eggs benedict/omelets so you would just fill out your (unlimited) tickets and hand them right on over to your server. BLK was loaded with delicious seafood options, including mussels, clams, oyster shooters, and (MY FAVE) Ceviche.

This was the first brunch I’ve ever been to that served MAC N CHEESE. Tbh it’s about freakin time. I was pretty much in brunch heaven. They had all the classic breakfast options, along with a carving station, chicken and waffle spot (super awesome and unique), and a salad bar. The desserts were prime with rich chocolate and carrot cakes. I was too full for the Lil’ crème brulees ☹. Damn…looks like I’ll just have to go back!

BLK had both inside and outside seating with an amazing view of the shoreline. Definitely a hot brunch spot for a younger crowd, I would recommend making a reservation…especially if you have a larger party. Bottomless mimosas were their thing, and they kept the drinks flowiiiin. I’m planning on going back when my friends from college come visit at the end of May!
